St Mary's Bazaar 2019
Saturday, 23 November saw our annual Bazaar in aid of church funds - thanks and congratulations to everyone involved, in organising the bazaar, setting up or clearing up afterwards, helping or manning a stall, and of course thanks to everyone who came along and supported us.
St Andrew’s Kingsbury 85th Anniversary Patronal Festival
Sung Mass on Saturday 30th November at 4.30pm with the Bp of Fulham,
followed by refreshments.
All are invited.

St Paul’s Cathedral Advent Carol Service and Procession

Mercy Ships Carol Service
Southwark Cathedral, Wednesday 4th December at 7.30 pm
A collection in support of Mercy Ships.
Mercy Ships is a faith-based international development organisation
that deploys hospital ships to some of the poorest countries in the world,
delivering vital, free healthcare to people in desperate need.

Prayer Spaces in Schools
We are looking for volunteers who would be interested in helping to run a “prayer space” for a week in school, to help the children explore more about prayer. If this might be you, please have a word with Lucky Enekeme.
Wanted: people of all ages to join our growing team of servers! Full training and robes provided. Speak to Suzanne or Fr Chris for more details.
The law is changing to make the ways organisations collect and process personal data more transparent, and increasing control for individuals over what is shared, and how. As a result, we need your consent to continue to contact you about what is going on here at St Mary’s! Fr Chris will be writing to everyone asking for this permission. Please look out for the letter and return the form to him as soon as possible.

We will continue to have the sheet at the back of church for prayers for the sick and the departed, but please do not include surnames of the sick.
St Luke's Hospice
Please save your used stamps for St Luke's Hospice; they are sold to collectors in the hospice's charity shops. There is an envelope on the charities board at the back of the church, or you can give them to Alison.
Now that supermarkets have to charge for carrier bags they are no longer able to supply the Foodbank with them. Brent Foodbank would be very grateful for bags to distribute food to their clients.

“Meal in a Can"
From Stephen Chamberlain:
‘We are now witnessing and seeing big changes in our client base, and our many needy Guests… we are receiving more and more homeless people and rough sleepers …without enough money to pay for gas or electricity and … do not have cooking facilities.Therefore we are inviting everyone to make a small weekly gift of just one ‘Meal in a Can'.
Thank you for the continuing support … Please pray for our Guests, Volunteers and our Rector Father Stephen France.
Suggestions for a Meal in a Can: hot dogs, stews, macaroni cheese, chilli, soups, tuna, pilchards.
